Love Week: Day Three

In effort to limit v-day candy... I plan to try to step away from my kiddos giving candy away to their fellow students. Em decided to give her classmates little play dough with her valentine photo in an envelope above. I'll post the finished product tomorrow... Have not finished that yet.

And this is something I had a vision for for a while... Hudson's valentine... together we took our old crayons and divided up the green and blue for melting and making little crayon "worlds". To go with the John 3:16 Bible verse. For complete instructions for melting crayons go here.

I still have not figured out how I'm going to put it all together but will post a photo soon.

And here are the teacher gifts... I had so much fun wrapping these up totally inspired by this gal. Thought it such a great gifts idea... And the Owl's I just free-handed an owl then used it as a template to reproduce them on scrapbook paper. They make me happy!... Still need to wrap and tie ribbon around these gifts and print something like " 'Owl' always think you're great! "

Kim...I truly think you are one of the craftiest moms I know. You do the neatest things with your children. I love the valentines and am sad Henry won't be there to get one from Emma. And the world crayons...wonderful idea. You're definitely a great inspirer of good ideas...and I love how much you incorporate scripture on your blog...it's definitely a light to those reading :)

Oh, I love it! What great ideas! We'll have to try the world crayons. And I just realized this week that I can insert text into my photos. I'm a little behind. :)
